Essential oil is the natural essence of plants, so its characteristics include: volatile, light resistant, temperature resistant and so on. Therefore, it must choose its own packaging to facilitate its preservation. The material of essential oil bottles is generally glass, and the thickness of the bottle body must be ensured to be sturdy.

High quality essential oil bottles must undergo a certain height drop test. Some essential oils are also packaged in colorless transparent glass bottles, but they are relatively rare, and some are made into matte effects to avoid light.

Glass bottles are relatively stable and do not easily react with essential oils. However, ordinary plastic bottles, including some types of plastic packaging bottles, are not ideal. When containing essential oils, some harmful substances are easily separated out, because some essential oils are highly volatile and their molecular structure is not very stable.
